I am one of the early adopters of the Mk4. An SR in crystal red. With the reversing camera as a dealer fit optional extra; very worthwhile. It was months before I saw another Mk4 on UK roads. They seem quite common now.

My main reservations are: I would like a higher range of adjustment for the driver's seat, which in fact is less than the seat in the Mk2, and no height adjustment for the front passenger seat. (Why?) I also deplore  the lack of a spare wheel, and no dedicated space in the boot even for a spacesaver.

Previously, I had 2 reliable Honda motorbikes, a Mk1 Civic (unfortunately, abused by previous owner, so I had to get rid) and lately we had a Mk2 Jazz that was bulletproof for reliability, and only had the Takata airbag recall. So far, the Mk4 has needed a replacement passenger side door mirror (known fault) and just last week I experienced the total brake failure catastrophe. I am so glad that I paid for the 5 year Care Package servicing and warranty extension. Because of that brake failure, I joined this forum, and put my maiden post on the brake failure thread. I felt the need for solidarity with fellow Jazz Mk4 owners, against the Honda UK apparent unwillingness to provide a comprehensive solution without quibbling.

After a ten week wait I now have my Crystal Black Jazz Advance on the drive, I fully charged the (tiny) 12V battery, sprayed silicone on all rubber door seals and door mirrors where they fold, waxed the paintwork, had a look in the settings menus to set the car up to my liking, I have a full size spare wheel with toolkit on order.
The Jazz is a joy to drive and the build quality is top notch, all controls easy to use although I have to figure out the satnav, surprisingly the tyre pressures were correct, well done Mr Dealership

When I originally looked at the Mk4 Jazz I considered a brand new EX model

After waiting a little while the facelift model was released which I prefer the look of.  It’s also possible that any early issues had been sorted in the facelift version

After a further delay the facelift model became available on the used market which is why I purchased my Advance; it represented a big saving on the new price but is in like new condition

The icing on the cake was the included 5 year service plan

2021 Crosstar EX
My Jazz Crosstar has travelled 24,000 miles with no significant problems, very comfortable and best of all super visibility.
The colour is my favourite, white oyster.
Averaging 66 MPG

New member on the forum - picked up my 2025 Jazz Advance Sport just a few weeks ago. Had my mind set on a Crosstar last year, but for "reasons" I ended up with a Lexus CT. Shocked from the service and part prices at Lexus, I went back to Honda when this Advance Sport turned up. I really like the looks of it, the Platinum White pearl looks amazing in the sun. I might miss a few things from the Lexus, but I feel way safer back with Honda.

Had my new jazz advance sport for 6 months now and i have to say its superb.
On a long mostly motorway trip it gave 62mpg.It averages 65mpg but some short trips i have had nearly 70mpg!
Its very comfortable with 2 six footers in the back commenting on how much leg room they have. For myself i love the suede effect in the front seats with the yellow stitching brightening things up very well.
Mine is in the metallic white colour which i dont see many of-usually black or the grey seem more popular round my way.
