« on: February 08, 2021, 06:38:31 AM »
HI
i want to buy 2011 jazz hybrid with 50k miles.
should i be concerned about getting problem in the future with the hybrid system(battery)?
How long is the battery life?

That hybrid system is capable of high mileage without battery problems. See https://clubjazz.org/forum/index.php?topic=4978.msg59022#msg59022 .

Another source of reference would be search for reports of battery problems in the Honda Insight as that vehicle had been using the IMA system for some years before it was put in the Jazz.

I have owned Jazz Hybrids for 9 years now, my first one a 2011 HS went to 256,000 miles (2011-18) and the engine and hybrid battery were still good after all those miles. My current Hybrid is a 2015 HS-T and has 134,000 miles on it, and again no issues.

How long is the battery life?
Who knows but I haven't known of any hybrid battery issues.

No.

My mate forward a hybrid the other day and it was really good value... however, do be careful as some of them are grey import from Japan.
