 3.9l/100km over last 15,000 miles/24,000km.  That's just over 70mpg.

I've no idea what kind of average speed.  Being in London means a lot of very slow stop-start driving.  When I'm out of town, I'm happy to keep to similar speeds as lorries.  Much of the distance was done in rolling Kent countryside, mostly alone and with no heavy loads.  I don't use the Econ button any more because it seems to make me drive with a heavier foot and it wasn't actually making the car any more economical, in fact possibly less economical.  With Econ off it's easier to drive with a far lighter foot.

Oh, and I try never to drive like I'm late.

Yesterday we came home from 10 days holiday in Lithuania. Total covered 1802 km (1120 miles). Car with 2 people and quite fully loaded. Various road types, motorways, A and B roads plus quite a bit of (very busy) urban traffic in Vilnius and Kaunas.
On the motorways we maintained a maximum of around 120 km/h (75 mph).
Total number of liters fueled 76.42 (16.81 gallons).
First tank in Poland (E5) the two fill ups in Lithuania (E10).
Average (actually measured) consumption 4.24 l/100 km. (66.62mpg). The BC gave 4.1 l/100 km. (68.9mpg).

That's some impressive figures! - I'm looking forward to my first fill-up; presently at 700 km with BC claiming an additional 380 km of range and an average consumption of 4,1 L/100km (68,9 mpg) - somehow, this doesn't add up with a 40 L petrol tank :D

I think it sometimes recalculates its estimated remaining  range based on your most recent average consumption. If a period of exceptionally gentle driving brings your consumption down to say  3,0 L/100km  it will recalculate  the range based on this lower consumption continuing until you refuel.     In practice the opposite often happens.  A couple of times I have had say 100 miles remaining range, which would comfortably get me to cheaper fuel in town rather than filling on the motorway.   But near the end the remaining range  dropped so much faster than actual distance covered, it left me anxious I would not make it.   :-\

Latest mpg @12674 miles, 130miles motorway since last fill and good weather.
Early fill as passing cheap petrol at ASDA.
Accumulative mpg creeping up.

Yes, I've had that rapid dropping in the projected range and shared the same ''range anxiety.''  My distance covered plus range is currently at around 1,050km but I doubt that I'll get much beyond 950km before my next fill.

Now coming up to 3 months old with 2191 miles on the clock, overall fuel consumption 69.2MPG.

My usual road test from Solihull to Stratford-on-Avon is seeing much the same consumption rates as previous, in spite of the additional power and torque available from the latest version of the Mk4 Jazz.

Yesterdays trip recorded 84.5MPG going out and 77.6 on return. Consumption is always better going out as Stratford is 320Ft lower than my location
The A3400 is restricted to 50MPH with several sections down to 30 and the return trip takes in a couple of country lanes. Round trip, just under 40 miles.

The Honda+ App is working fine, but a bit slower to function than I remember with the previous Mk4.
For me, the main reason for having it is the Car Location function, in the event of it being stolen.

Do also check mpg by calculator using fuel in and miles since fill to verify onboard figures?

Done that, only about 1.5 to 2 MPG difference, not worth worrying about ;D
