Filled the eco bar
« on: December 16, 2021, 12:32:17 PM »
I got  what looked like a medal on the display, but it disappeared before I could take a picture.

Full eco bars after switch off - not sure what it means or if they will reset?

FYI it took over 6,000 miles of mainly motorway driving.

Mission complete!

Now ask Honda for your prize.

I was only wondering about this only this morning, I'm nearly two thirds there.

Guess it will just reset now?

This is the owners manual information about the drive cycle score and the reset procedure.

The Japanese do love to game-ify things.

Something that some people may not realise, the Honda flower/tree icon, if your rotate it, it is actually the word ECO

I’ve never used eco mode apart from once when I was running out of fuel - I think the bar may be how many trees you have saved through driving a hybrid instead of a normal car?

I seem to have lost half a tree overnight:

It’s a weird gauge - I’ve always had 5 trees on display since new and the bottom 3 bars slowly filling up.

After my second trip today I was back to 5 trees on shutdown.

I don’t think I’ll bother resetting the gauge, it’s not something I’ve tried to use before & just curious how they calculate it.

I got the laurel leaf for all five leaves & reset the drive cycle as per the Manuel, but now the "leaves are not working, anyone help"

I didn’t bother resetting the gauge, but sometimes all the trees disappear and sometimes just half before coming back the next time.

It’s a strange gauge, it just fills up when you drive the car and then stays full - on the Prius you get a score every time you drive to tell you how economically your trip has been.

.... And me.

I'd have preferred a display showing the :

Mileage
MPG
Max speed
EV minutes
Hybrid minutes
ICE minutes
Etc

of the last journey since last power on/off. The trip meters sort of do that but given the Eco display is full screen there's loads of room for more detail.
Let's be careful out there !
