Sorry but the Honda is not the only car where an automatic version can bring extra unwelcome bills. On some cars of this age the cost could make it beyond economic repair.      If you bought the car from a dealer then maybe your local trading standards department could advise on who is liable for any faults  .

Well if its something bad I'll be going that route belive me, but tbh think they will be ar_e holes. Most small independent car sales are. Well in my opinion.

Have you tried to find an Independent Honda Specialist in your area? Perhaps mention your location as someone on here maybe able to recommend one.

Hi, I'm in Wolverhampton not sure of any. There's Penn Autos but they seem more race transmissions

I diy.
I only  add enough CVT fluid to replace first drain. Not had any problems with not flushing - nearly 60k miles now.

Fluid is always clean at 25k intervals so minimum wear.

Flushing is only required if the transmission has gone too long between services and juddering is occurring. You obviously change the fluid at the specified intervals.

If they are only doing Hondas they may buy fluid in bulk with the economy of scale. If they are a reputable concern it sounds like a good deal.
I used an independent transmission specialist to repair my manual gearbox.  I had been quoted £900 to £1500. They quoted £342 and 50,000 miles later it is still as sound as ever. Don't look a gift horse in the mouth.

No I asked enough questions, I'm expecting a call back tbh saying they made  a mistake. We're never that lucky
