On my install, the only wiring visible is from the headlining down to the dashcam, about 3 inches. All the remaining wire is hidden

« Last post by Chis52 on April 22, 2024, 02:07:45 PM »Just had a pleasant surprise when I went to pick up my car today following the repair to the brake fault. I had been expecting to pay the labour cost but the garage informed me that Honda had now agreed to fund the whole cost of the repair, both parts and labour. It seems that they have finally realised that they have a PR problem owing to their initial response to this problem which clearly affects a significant number of owners.

We have had a 1.3 sport manual since buying it new in 2006. Great car and that experience has resulted in the purchase of a 2018 1.5 sport, Not as a replacement ,but in addition to.
Our interest in cars had led us to also be the custodians of a 1966 Morris Minor Tourer, a 1967 Morris Minor Traveller and a 1983 series 3 Landrover. So petrol is the guide in our household.

« Last post by Kenneve on April 22, 2024, 12:16:39 PM »Recently checked the brake actuator repair/replace situation with my dealer (a large West Midlands main Honda dealer) and I am assured that any issue within the warranty period would be FOC.
She wasn’t quite so sure re repair outside of warranty, suggesting that it would probably be the subject of a Honda recall
Having said that, they have only had 1 issue and that was on the pure EV vehicle, not a Jazz.

« Last post by Peripheral on April 22, 2024, 12:00:43 PM »No differences... unless you count the possibility that the 21 has an upgraded brake simulator
If you go for a 20 plate, I would be asking the dealer what warranty you would get, and what the chances of the brake simulator failing are. If you still decide to go for the 20, get everything in writing.
Well, that's disconcerting. Thanks for the info.
