Has anyone found an aftermarket auto-dimming mirror?

There are a few on eBay and Halfords but not sure if they will fit the Jazz. I m so gutted that this is not available on any of the Jazz. My 2004 Toyota Verso had it. So useful as LED headlights are driving me mad.

On my previous Civic that had no auto dipping mirror I just had mine on permanent dip, 24x7.

I could still see more than enough through the darkened reflection. Also used to dim the following daytime running lights in daytime.

As for fitting one, if no new Jazz has it and therefore no wiring then it could be a difficult job.

4.3" Auto Dimming Rear View Mirror Monitor LCD Color +Intelligent Dynamic Camera on eBay. Would this fit?

I just don't know why Jazz in the UK don't have the auto dimming mirrors?

I have an interior rear mirror that dims 'on demand' -  raise left hand about 400mm and click the bottom of mirror,  I often leave it in the dip position at night anyway as I have two perfectly good wing mirrors.  On the Civic the rear spoiler tends to keep out following headlights any way except when German Staff cars get too close.......

Part numbers:
08V09-PG7-C00 Mirror and camera
08V09-PG7-000A Adapter
91561-T8N-T01 Clip (You need 2)

Once I get my Crosstar I will probably order this mirror. I ordered a Honda "dog seat" (08Z41-E6K-020F) via Buyee.jp and the shipping was really fast. I placed my order on the 7th and my package will be arriving on the 15th.

I got the installation manual from a supplier in Japan:

https://smallpdf.com/shared#st=94b8a648-19cf-4450-a347-f3ec52359109&fn=08V09-TZA-A001-90JA00.pdf&ct=1602741945314&tl=share-document&rf=link

Installing the mirror in a European Jazz is doable. Mind you, it is a big job.

Well well who would have thought of that solution, so clever. Also a fixation with German cars goodness me has one upset you in the past.?.

Which reminds me of the windows on my Austin A35: Handles were fixed on the glass and it was quick / easy to slide the window up/down to the required position. None of that fidding with winding handles or buttons.

Similar to the windows in the rear of my Jazz.

Just to revive an old thread with my observation now I've had the Jazz a few weeks.

I'm finding the privacy glass on the EX version dims all headlights to an extent that I've not once gone for the dip position, day or night. And I've had some Range Rover types behind with raised lights.

The same for me

$319 for a mirror??? Plus carriage presumably?
A very expensive solution to a non problem is it not? Kremmen (& others surely have the answer.)
I cannot understand how Honda ever think they are going to sell any of the options/accessories. Their prices are a complete joke. A set of rubber mats for the new HR-V is £94.00!!!
I rest my case.

Honda obviously don't want too sell the rubber mats on the HR-V, they were £94 when I configured my car, they are now £115!!!
Whoopee I can get a Honda logo for £155 , or a set of 4 rubber mats from Lidl for £14!!

yep im also one of those people who is more than happy with the manual dimming mirror.  ;D  for me auto dimming mirrors ive had in other cars have never worked well enough. I like the traffic behind to be just visible, and find the manual versions give me that.  My other car, a golf, has the auto dimmer, and frankly I wish it didnt.    ::)
