HDMI unsupported
« on: September 04, 2020, 10:50:52 PM »
Hi all.

New member here to the group. Have just purchased a 2018 Honda jazz 1.3 ivtec. It doesn’t have any sat nav which is a shame so was gonna try and use a HDMI and lightening cable with my iPhone to see if I can bring the screen up in the entertainment system. I have tried 2 different cables and every time I am getting HDMI unsupported. Does anyone have any ideas as to why this is happening ??

This feature is limited while driving. To play videos, stop your vehicle and apply the parking brake.

Not sure with iPhone and not sure if the system you want is supported but I had similar problems in my Skoda when trying to display phone sat nav on screen.

I went into settings on my phone (Android), >System Navigation .>developer options > turn off USB de-bugging. Worked a treat but that was through USB port. Worth having a play around?
