Honda Manchester closed down?
« on: December 24, 2017, 03:59:54 PM »
Heard elsewhere that Honda Manchester, at Stretford, and owned by Swansway, has suddenly closed down.

I can't see any news about it, but the website isn't working.

Anyone know if it's true?  Swansway spent literally £millions revamping the site.

Yes it is true - I got an email from them about it a week or two ago. I gather other Honda dealerships in the Swansway Group will remain in existence.

Yes, the branch of Swansway in Stockport is still operating

Thanks both.

Wonder what's gone on there?  It was a quite a strategic location so leaves a chunky gap.

When these events happen they never clear their parts bins... pity.

One thing I did notice when I was looking for my current Jazz was that Swansway Bolton had a massive stock of cars so presumably a lot of the Manchester inventory went there.
