Auxiliary Input Jazz 2005 SE Sport
« on: November 20, 2016, 06:19:20 PM »
Hi newbie here!

Just bought my first Jazz; 2005 SE Sport. Love this car already, only had it half a day - it's so smooth to drive, nippy and looks gorgeous in Milano Red!

So, the radio appears to suggest there is an auxiliary input - the button says CD/Aux. So my question; - can I plug my iPhone into the radio? If so, where is the input jack?

Apologies if this is a stupid, uninformed question, I'm just so excited by my new Jazz.

If there is one it'll be down below the cigarette lighter socket.

Not sure about 2005 models, but the Mk 2 has a special socket under the centre console adjacent to the Aux power socket.
The car should have come with a short adaptor lead about 15 cm long which plugs into this socket and terminates in a standard USB socket.
I plug in a USB memory stick, which contains all my music and access is via the CD/AUX button.
