My second Jazz
« on: January 29, 2016, 10:26:07 AM »
On Monday 1st of Feb, I'll be picking up my new (to me) Jazz. My current car is a 2010 Mk 2 1.4 EX, the "new" one is a late 2013 (63 plate) 1.4 EX in Azure blue. Just a tad under 12,000 on the clock.

This ends a month or two of agonising as to whether to change at all and, if so, whether to buy a brand new car. I decided I am not yet convinced by the new Jazz - I probably will buy one in the future but I like the Mk 2 so much I am happy to buy another one.

The changes are mostly cosmetic but I did notice subtle changes (for the better) in the suspension and steering.

I know what you mean,  it's can be difficult to make a decision sometimes when there's nothing wrong with the car you have.

I must admit i am a little unsure about the new Jazz, I'm sure it will be reliable but the jury is still out for me on the styling

New (to me) Jazz safely in my drive. Bonus when I picked it up, it still has a service plan with the 3 year service already paid for.

Main difference, as mentioned before, is the suspension. Slightly softer if anything - certainly seems to take speed bumps in its stride. A few differences in the bodywork and interior fittings and that's about it.

This is the first time in my driving career I have ever had the same car in succession.

Picking up my second Jazz on Friday. Also found it hard to make a change. I've currently got a mk1 07 plate, and now has 80,000 on the clock. "New Jazz" is black like my old one, on a 13 plate. Hopefully it'll be as good as my old Jazz.

As with others above, swithered over the last year about changing my 58 reg 1.4ES, Mk2.
Traded it in with 42k on the clock today. Sad to see it go.

Seriously thought about going for a new Mk3 but didn't in the end.

Second Jazz is a 2014 ES plus with 2,500 miles on the clock.
Hope this one will be as reliable as the last one was.
A slightly lighter silver than the old one. Don't reckon that anyone will notice  ::)
