Auto or no lights?
« on: December 29, 2016, 02:42:53 PM »
I have seen so many idiots driving around without any lights on that it makes me appreciate the Jazz auto lights even more, yes they come on to early but at least it's see and be seen.
Also what is it with BMW and Audi drivers? Do they not put speedometers in German cars?  and why do they have to try and get their bonetts up my exhaust pipe just because I can drive to the limits.
Change of tack, 54.4mpg on a 140 mile journey down the m6 the other day, cruise control at 70 before you ask, very pleased with that.
Happy new year to all you jazzers out there.

And it's usually the cars with colours which are difficult to see in poor visibility which are the last to put their lights on.

How did you manage to do 70 mph on the M6 for 140 miles? It's usually a car park near me.

Christmas eve, not to much traffic, and a dream of a drive 😁 and yes I agree on the way up the 2.5hr journey took 5hrs, nightmare.

Yeah I did M40, M42, M6, M56, A494, A55 at a steady 60mph on Christmas Eve starting at 7am. I had to slow (well - adjust the cruise control) to 50mph through the M6 roadworks but otherwise a steady 60mph. Did pretty much the same thing in reverse on Boxing Day.

At least with the CVT box you can go as fast in reverse as you can forward  :P
