Hi.

I just want to check that it is normal for the wipers not to park when you power off the car. They just stop wherever they are. Seems a bit 20th century! It's not like it's a physical ignition switch.

This might be deliberate: If you are expecting rain that then freezes then switching off the vehicle when the wipers are vertical will reduce the risk of them freezing to the glass.

It has another good reason, although more applicable to the windscreen wipers: You can secure a cover against snow with vertical wipers.
