I’ve been tracking the fuel consumption of our last four cars on "Spritmonitor" (https://www.spritmonitor.de/en/) for about 18 years now—out of curiosity and to compare the fuel economy of these different vehicles under various conditions.
It really takes no effort at all; it’s very simple, especially with the app.

All cars are less fuel efficient at higher speeds for obvious aerodynamic reasons, but in the Jazz hybrid it is particularly noticeable for engineering reasons. In view of the current world shortage of oil I think it would make sense to introduce a national 60mph speed limit. It was done before and the economic costs in lost time would be minimal. It would also have safety benefits.

Jump Starters are available that use capacitors instead of batteries. One advantage over powerbanks is that you don't have to make sure that it's always charged up and ready for use.

Although designed to power a starter motor, for the eHEV Jazz, these should easily be able to  provide enough power to the computers etc. to initiate the hybrid system, which would then be able to take over and charge the car's 12V battery.

Examples - SIP 600A 12v Capacitor Booster; Sealey Electrostart 800A

That very web page used to have rather long list of different country specific sub-models. But for some reason not any more.

Probably I need to export all part pictures and lists valid for my Jazz now when they still are available.

No, I make no use of Apple CarPlay. The connections menu show that my phone and the car are connected by WiFi. I like the maps on HERE and the junction diagrams that come up in front of the driver.

your old thread is pretty useful. Hard to find info on HERE navigation. I did not manage to sign up yet (Sign Up for Online Service) because I am still messing around with Wi-fi. Will try again tomorrow. Kind off silly it is all so complicated. My Wifi is setup to work with Android Auto. So I guess I need to switch that off and turn of the Wi-fi hotspot on my phone to be able to Sign Up for Online Service. Or something like that. I tried that but not yet successful.

Still, once I turn back on the Wi-fi that works with Android Auto then probably I will not receive the real time traffic updates. But at least I would know how to force it to do so by switching to another Wi-fi

I agree absolutely with everything Voldermore says. I remember 50 years ago with my first Mini having a green notebook in the "glovebox" calculating spend and mpg.

Still find it interesting from an engineering, spec sheet and mathematical view to see what people calculate.

Everyones's driving styles, geography, traffic jams and temperatures will be different, checking manufacturers claims independently is always good.

Apple CarPlay + Google Maps plays nicely - inc. upcoming turn display info in the driver info screen.
I tried this today for the first time and it worked well. When I then disconnected CarPlay and reconnected WiFi to my hotspot, HERE traffic information was back! So it must be something I had inadvertently done wrong. Anyway, problem solved. Thanks!

Whilst I can understand  that many will want to monitor their fuel use , and other expenditure , in great detail and accuracy , I have never felt the need to constantly monitor it  down to the last drip of fuel or how I spend each penny .

While there is truth in the old adage "Look after the pennies and the pounds will take care of themselves".  I have perhaps been fortunate (or naïve in thinking ) that  having sufficient pounds left in the bank each month, and an awareness of  roughly how much I am spending on non essential luxuries  (which includes a newish Jazz and fuel spent on recreational trips) is enough for me to know whether I  am living within my means.

Would I really change my driving habits  knowing I am really only getting 60 mpg  rather than the 62 mpg  shown on the fibometer?  ?  Nope.  My bank balance wouldnt change.   The  Fibometer  is  accurate enough to encourage me to moderate my driving style  to increase mpg.  And I have spent many pounds from my bank balance on a relatively small hybrid car to minimise the environmental impact of my recreational use of the car.

These days its difficult finding a parts catalogue for any car. Or workshop manuals . They seem to be restricted to the trade, who may pay an annual subscription for access to on-line data.

But the catalogues you list give a lot information, with beak down  diagrams showing the  Honda part number. If you enter the Honda part number into google it will often list suppliers of that genuine Honda part in the Uk or willing to ship to the UK.  Prices  including shipping may still be cheaper than buying direct from Honda yourself as a member of the public. It may include genuine Honda dealerships who specialise in mail order parts , such as Cox's  or independent suppliers able to obtain Genuine Honda parts at trade prices.

Not an ideal situation, and you will also have to beware of LHD/RHD and specification differences.
