Garmin Map Updates stopped*

...What other vehicles will reach 5 years but be able to pay for updates because they have larger capacity devices? and does that mean they were more generous on older models or have the updates just bloated themselves beyond all recognition? 


If they managed the updates more efficiently surely no device would run out of space?

So in my Jazz the world stopped 2023.

When I had my old standalone Garmins the map update completely replaced the old mapping / files as the MyMaps screen just showed the latest version

It looks to me like the Honda / Garmin update may add rather than replace as the MyMaps screen shows multi years which again may explaing why they are filling up

...Which would probably be Ok if they were small incremental changes but it appears as though they are not and are much larger!
