Oil Leak

Hi,

New to the forum, her on behalf of an elderly family member who replaced a 2007 Fit with a 2019 Fit sport. Upon inspection for registration the mechanics discovered a leak, they suspect is the rear main seal.

First thing is always to clean everything off with solvent (e.g. brake cleaner) until it is dry and then run it for a while to see where the leak is coming from. Sometimes you find there isn't actually a leak but oil has come from a spillage when refilling or possibly from when an oil filter is removed etc.
Be absolutely sure there is a leak first.

It was cleaned today, will check again to see if I can isolate it.
