My car is Honda Jazz HX-T IMA CVT hybrid. That is a mark 2 Jazz registered in 2012, and has done about 60000 miles without a problem. I intend to change the fluid. I did a manual gearbox oil change on a mark 1 Jazz and used non-Honda oil with success.
Is there an alternative fluid to the Honda CVT fluid?
I know the correct Honda product is called Honda CVT-F or CVT-Fluid. I read on this forum that products called ATF-Z1 or ATF-DW1 are not suitable.
What about Granville CVT Fluid? See
https://granvilleoil.com/prodInfo?pID=581The description on the container label refers to 'Honda: HMMF & HVF-2'. What does that mean?
