Side mirror heater

Hi,
The manual says  the back window defog/defrost also does the side mirrors but it doesnt seem to be removing rain drops, is there another switch to tell it to do the side mirrors as well? My 2004 jazz would dry them up in a couple of minutes.

What model do you have? My S does not have heated mirrors.

It's a 5Dr Hatchback 1.4 i-VTEC EU5 99 ES+
