Hello all, this is my first post in ages-sorry for that.My Wife's 2003 Jazz has a small scratch on the cover to the passenger airbag, the question is a simple one-how does this come off and is it a doable task? I've looked and it appears to be a complete section so should in theory be replaceable seperately.I assume it will also be necessary to de-activate the bag.Any advice welcome,if someone knows where I might find one used even better-I will phone the Dealer and post the price so everyone knows.(bet it's telephone numbers from them)
    Best wishes,
    Craig,
    Nottingham.

Hi there and welcome Smiley

I had my passenger airbag cover replaced not long after I took delivery for the same reason. The dealer carried out the work so I have no idea if the airbag has to be deactived but it can be done.

Thanks for the reply;phoned the dealer and they said the cover is part of the air-bag system-£705 plus the vat=no thanks.I will ask my friend who has a trim repair business but as the trim has small indents I doubt it can be repaired.
 Best wishes,
 Craig.

The dealer is right it is part of the airbag and so an expensive scratch.
