Comparing these two parts diagrams, (
2004 S /
2004 SE) the internal wiring loom is the same part number for all trim levels of the 2004 car (1 ..
32125-SAA-E01 .. SUB CORD, EPS) so the required connector should exist; and the keyless unit (13 ..
38385-SAA-G01 .. RECEIVER UNIT, KEYLESS ENTRY) is only omitted on the S version, but is common to many CR-V, FR-V, Jazz & Stream, although not Civic as I had expected.
The manual at
http://www.hondafitjazz.com/manual.html has comprehensive details on
keyless entry. UK & Eire models are KE, and have 'Super Locking' i.e. deadlocks, first press of the remote locks doors, second press deadlocks.
Programming remotes is straightforward, pairing immobilizer transponder chips requires dealer or auto-locksmith.
Picking up a keyless receiver should be easy for me, but there will unlikely be any remotes. It seems fobs, new cases, and combined key/remote are popular on eBay, but at some cost. Are you considering a complete kit?
http://www.ebay.co.uk/sch/i.html?_nkw=keyless+entry , it may work out cheaper than obtaining the fobs, but will likely miss out on deadlocking and be more complex to install.
P.S. When pairing an additional remote with a Jaguar some years ago, after about an hour of head scratching we discovered the procedure only worked with the doors closed.
