Brake pedal travel
« on: April 23, 2014, 12:14:36 AM »
Just wondering is it normal with engine running and stationary, for the brake pedal to be able to be pressed to the floor...
It seems to brake ok, if I brake really hard abs will come on, but it's worrying me that pedal will travel to floor when stationary, it's still under honda warranty since I hit it from honda main dealer so if something's wrong it's time to sort it now.

It's like hard emergency stop braking then a bit more will put it to the floor...... Worrying.
No leaks, and no spongey pedal.

No that doesn't sound right. Pop into Honda immediately.

Something is leaking.  Possibly one of the hoses got nicked.  A bit like the chunk of metal that flew off the runway and downed the Concorde a few years back, but not so serious
