JAZZ HYBRID - REPLACING FRONT WIPER BLADES?
« on: December 23, 2013, 08:40:37 PM »
Hi

Any Hybrid owners out there who can advise how to source & (DIY) replace the front "aerodynamic" wiper blades?
I note in the owner's handbook that they show only replacement of the rubber & supporting strip but not the whole blade; there are advertisers on the internet featuring complete blades for the Jazz hybrid but they don't visually resemble the OEM.

Seasonal regards

My parents have a Insight hybrid that has the same 'flat' wipers but there's not. There just standard blades that have been around for decades just now with an aerodynamic twist.

There not the flat wipers you see on the latest cars -  shame on Honda.

Anyway I'm sure Honda will be able to source the wipers for you.

OE type blades are available from Japanese specialists ADL Blueprint, so any decent factor should be able to get them for you. Most factors in the country use a company called FPS (Ferraris Piston Services) as a supplier - they have them in stock. (I have an account with them, and have just checked.)  The Part No.s  are ADG09760 for the passenger's side, and ADG09769 for the driver's side. The rear blade is ADG09781.

Hope that helps.

Try them, they don`t list specifically Honda Hybrid but they might have the right one for anyone`s car, link.
I`ve got a GD Jazz and using 24" on the driver side instead of the 20" (original size), so I have to buy separately and not in a kit...

Any suitable replacement blade the correct length will work.  You can get Chinese ones here, made of neoprene and they cost less than 1/3 the price Honda agents want.  They wipe water too

I've just compared the wipers on a Jazz GE (58 registration) and Hybrid (11 registration) and they look identical.

Did Honda change the wipers on the more recent Hybrid production?

Many Thanks for all the replies on this, particularly DV & Dave Green with the specific links & Part ID numbers.

This should be a real help to everyone changing their own (Jazz Hybrid) wipers.

Ahh, I had a wiper blade fail on my Hybrid on Tuesday, the car was serviced the day before and there was no mention of it, and the next day after a heavy overnight dew, I go to use the wash/wipe, and a huge streak is missed on the screen. On inspection I see that a large area of wiper blade has split, possibly by the valeter?? Anyway, off to Halfords, and £21 later  :o :o a new Bosch 26" wiper is fitted, and another £15 for the smaller one. It was a good job a past pupil gave me a Halfords Gift Voucher as a "Thank You" present.

Yep, I know but when you have a test the car has to be all OK.
