I fitted Phillips Daylight 4 drl's myself. (See gallery section for a photo - I can take more if anyone's interested). Bit fiddly if you've no experience of wiring mainly due to lack of space but they fit quite nice with no edges sticking out. I have a sport front bumper so maybe not the same for all models but they are EU legal and have a controller to automatically switch off when you switch on side/main lights. There is a video on youtube from Phillips if you just search "daylight 4 leds". Cost me 130CHF (about £100).

Stupot0041,

They fine but in the UK they are illegal DRL must be no more than 400mm from the side of the car. 400mm is just in line with edge of the headlight where the indicator is, on yours they start here instead they should end here.

So you're saying that the Honda ones are illegal in the UK

Read my post No I'm saying the  Philips ones that stupot0041 fitted to his Swiss Jazz would not legal here in the UK. Because check his photo in the gallery of where they are fitted.

Hi kenrw,
That's not correct what you write, they only have to be less than 400mm from the side if you are using the DRL's as sidelights, in which case you have to disable the original sidelight function because you cannot have both operating at the same time.

What you refer to was the old law but this was changed about 3 or 4 years ago. The above PDF is the current EU law and applies to UK and Switzerland as well (It is the same law for all Europe) Starts at page 72 for DRL's.

This is Philips own UK installation video which shows the EU (and UK!) requirements.
The other requirement is they must be more than 40mm from the indicator.
