wheel arch MK3 vs MK2

Hi Guys,
I recently been to a Honda dealer. obviously, there were some new Jazz MK3 and I noticed that there is a kind of protection  inside the rear wheel arcs.  People are saying that the MK3 is much quieter compared to the II. I inspected the interior of the MK3 (under the rear seats and the boat) but I did not find any additional noise insulation. This may indicate that all the noise reduction  may derive for this wheel arch protection. Are you guys aware of this? WIll this protection fit a MKII?
