Heater barely warms up
« on: December 17, 2022, 02:26:16 PM »
Hi,
First post so pls go easy on the newbie!  The heater on my 2013 GG6 Jazz doesn't work.  It actually hasn't worked for the last 5 years but it never bothered me until this past month when the cold has become unbearable.  Even after an hour of driving, I get a small flow of lukewarm air coming out of the driver-side vent but all other vents just spew cold air.  The mechanic told me he thinks the heater matrix is blocked by something - possibly sealant used to fix a previous leak.  He tried reverse-flushing but there was no flow.  So I've been trying to source a heater matrix on Ebay and have seen several which were taken from a Mk2 like mine, but with a different engine number.  My question is, does this part have to be matched with the engine number or is the same part used across any of the Mk2 series?  As I say, newbie post -  thanks for bearing with me  ;D

Welcome. Searching here: https://www.parts-honda.uk/honda-cars/JAZZ
the heater units appear to be the same irrespective of the engine size.
