1.4 performance

Hi all ,anyone experience any difference in performance in the 1.4 si (13)v 1.4 es.(14) I have a 1.4 si in getting a bit if work done and a 1.4 es out on loan . 1.4 es seems more powerful. Any particularly reason ?

Despite all the Jazz Sport, Si, ES etc model designations they all have the same engines with same power (depending on whether 1.2 or 1.4 fitted). The letters just refer to styling and equipment levels.  The two Jazz engines in UK are the DS-i  (8 valve twin spark fitted to GD 2002 - 2008) and the i-VTEC 16 valve engine (GE 2008 onwards).
