TPMS valve replacement?
« on: August 31, 2016, 03:02:25 PM »
I bought a spare set of wheels for my non-TPMS Jazz. They have TPMS valves.

I know I can use them as-is but does anyone know if they can be replaced with normal tyre valves and if so, do the TPMS valves have any value please?

Googled the question and the answer is yes, they can be replaced by standard valves, which is good  :)

Not sure whether they have a second hand value though?

A single second hand valve+sensor is on eBay for £7.50 plus postage, part# 42753-SWA-A53 although that is 315MHz rather than European 433Mhz, there does not seem to be much demand/supply for them.

Thanks for that. Might as well leave things as they for now then.
