Having just purchased an 03 Jazz which prior to purchase had had the switch replaced I was amazed that the first time I opened the driver window it went down and stayed there.

Honda investigated and found the new switch had failed and replaced it again.

I took mine in and they just washed it to see if any water dripped through the window seal.

I had mine done when I had it serviced a few months back. There is no indication in the engine bay or door shut that the work has been done (when my Dad's Hyundai Getz was recalled over a potential ABS fault the dealer affixed a sticker on the slam panel stating the recall had been carried out).

The dealer did however put on the service invoice that the recall work had been carried out and that no faut was reported.

There should be a center punch mark above the G on the chassis plate.

If they have put no fault for it then in this case it did not need a new switch.
