Hello GD1
« on: May 07, 2012, 10:02:40 AM »
Hey dude's, i thought i would share by jazz build up with you!

I've been looking into getting a second car for a while now, and the Jazz pretty much ticks all the boxes.

I picked it up super cheap thanks to a friend in the trade. All the previous owners have been elderly (no supprise there) and has been well looked after.
Plans so far are pretty simple as i don't want to take it to the extreme, but i also want to put my own touch to it :)

1.4 dsi se. 83k on the clock and well equipped :)

First thing to do was give it a good clean and buff up the dull paint.
After a few hours work.....

The came the first mod, the wiper position.

Then wind deflectors.

Speakers

I dropped the car on eibach pro-kit springs but it's not low enough and gives an uneven drop.

Borrowed some 5th gen civic fat fives.

Mainly because im refurbing these :)

Then managed to get hold of a genuine mugen lip..........my plans have changed so im not going to fit it anymore.

The most recent updates haven't arrived yet, but will be with me during the week :D
But i have sprayed the new wheels ;)

Thanks for looking!

Thanks dude.

I am indeed, it had a few cracks that i've repaired. One of the back fixing tabs is broken but im going to fix that too so it's back to normal. I'll finish rubbing it down so it just needs spraying up.

Are you interested in it?

Great pics, I like to see how people are modifying the Jazz.

Who is the manufacturer of the 'wind deflectors' that you have fitted?

I've seen some on eBay made by Climair but not sure how they compare with the ones available from Honda dealers.

Looks really nice mate.:)
I used to have BuddyClub coilovers on my Civic. They are a good piece of kit. Just make sure you get some lubricant into the damper adjustment screws. One of my dampers seized up after just 6 months of ownership due to corrosion and water getting into them.
A good smear of grease round the knob shaft should prevent it happening to you.
