That charging time seems short unless the 230V adapter delivers a very high current. 13A at 230V = 3kW so could put about 5kWhr into the battery in two of hours assuming 80% efficiency. The battery capacity is likely to be at least 10 times that.
Yeah agreed, Tesla charging points deliver 120kw for a short charge time, but if two vehicles use both plugs on same point the power available is halved. If battery is 80KWh then charging from empty at 3KW (13 amp domestic supply) would take almost 30 hours, you would need a 50 amp supply to charge empty battery in less than 8 hours, in perspective most houses get an 80amp incoming supply for everything in the house, so don't try to take a shower or cook in an electric oven while the car is charging.
Seems to me that if battery cars get popular every country is going to need a big upgrade of its electricity supply and charging infrastructure, bad news is solar power does not work at night (otherwise it would be called lunar power), and wind normally drops at night (or is too strong for turbines to handle) so wind no good either, electricity is expensive to store in any quantity.
Another point is that EV ranges are worked out at steady 50 or 55mph, if you do 70 on motorway it can reduce range by 20% or more. So on a motorway the 200 mile range becomes 160miles or less.
