Foam gasket escaping around inside of windscreen
« on: February 23, 2017, 07:17:01 AM »
Someone posted a picture of the Foam gasket escaping around inside of windscreen

Mine has gone like that. I have an extended grantee - will it be covered?

I think you will have to ask the company concerned, but I suspect that it wouldn't be an easy job to replace.
My car has the same problem, but I just push it back with a thin plastic kitchen spatula and that cures it for a few months. It only takes a couple of seconds to do.

It is in for a service today.

She said they would remove it, so I said push it back in.

This is a common happening, push the foam back gently until it disappears.
